Core Whore: A messenger term meaning hoarder of downtown core work. In other words, playin' for the easy high money tags. This race resembled that, however, fate is your enemy in the form of dice. No self-routing, but at least you get paid for a high roll!

Stacie Bain ex-messenger and bike lawyer slayed the course by keeping calm, collected, and riding for everything she's worth. Stacie is my hero. She works weekdays with Bob Anderton as a bike lawyer and is a true weekend warrior as a Rafting Guide every weekend all summer. In the winter she snowboards practically every weekend as well. Damn, what a badass!

Phil Wood was kind enough to donate and custom etch a pair of pink track hubs for the Core Whore. For those of you who missed it, the Core Whore was a ladies only alleycat that kicked off Westside Invite this year. Look for the Core Whore for Men this October. The rims were hand painted at Chrome Ohm by Beetle. They are truly one of a kind. Painted at SIK Werks to match Phil's pink, Queen of the Core was painted under the clearcoat. Due to time constraints I was actually building the wheels during the race. Jon and Elias ran the mobius stop. Everyone had a great time and I can't believe how hard they rode. Your in for it boys!

The Selle Italia SLR Lady Gel Flow on Stacie's bike is simply the best saddle out there ladies! It's worth every penny. I've been riding and loving the men's version for 6+ years and I am ready to switch after 10 minutes on the lovely Sarah's new Saddle.

Michelin Speedium tires in black. These tires ride like decent road tires, yet skid for a damn long time. I like Michelins best because they don't get large tears and ride really well.
