West Side Prize Explosion from mobius

Jon Denver, Sarah and I spent the day building the prize wheels for Queen of Track and the Freestyle competition. The Core Whore Wheelset went to Stacie Bain who brought in $1,380 in an extended two and a half hour race. You'll get to see more of her wheels when we finish the bike she's building around them.

The ladies took to the streets of Downtown Seattle last night and climbed from 1st to 6th over and over again (mostly around Marion). Thanks for the great turnout ladies hope you enjoyed the prizes. Esra came in at $1,330 for second and a Neon pink front Aerospoke. ABC's own Ayda finished third scoring a pair of Knickers from B. Spoke Tailor with $1,320.

Tomorrow's Freestyle competition and Amazing Main Race sound like a great break from all the work this week. Thanks to all my helpers:

Jon Denver, Sarah Kerr, Bob Derbyshire, Jace Treebeard, Elias, Colin, Corndog (kind of), Craig Etheridge, Ryan of Bike Bloc, Swerve and his sister, Brian and Ken of SIK Werks, Nan of B. Spoke Tailor, Paceline/DT Swiss, Velocity, Portland Design Works, Brian of Hong Kong Fixed, Bill at Aerospoke, Ritchie, Taylor and every lady who raced or cheered and every guy who saw how tough these ladies really are!
