The 3rd annual Seattle Bike-In at Cal Anderson Park is coming!

JULY 20, Sunday starting at 4pm

Northwest Film forum teams up with Sustainable Capitol Hill to bring you this year's Seattle's Bike-In. Entering its third year of supporting alternative transportation in the city, this year's partnership includes an all day event called Imagine Capitol Hill, where Sustainable Capitol Hill and its partners provide information and entertainment about sustainable issues facing Capitol Hill residents. Imagine Capitol Hill takes place at the Broadway Farmers market and is followed by a bicycle parade to Cal Anderson Park for music and movies!

This 24 carat gold bicycle, commissioned by the UK's Environmental Transport Association, is on sale for £9,500. It has an optional extra of a security guard, as bicycles over £4,000 cannot be insured.

Bike to Work Day - Friday, May 16, 2008

Most cities in our region do not know how many cyclists use their roads because they do not count them. Cascade Bicycle Club wants to see official bicycle counts become commonplace around Puget Sound. But until then, the number we tally each year on Bike to Work Day has become the default indicator of our community's growing size and strength.

Bike to Work Day Details

Throughout Puget Sound, riders can stop by Commute Stations to pick up free schwag, snacks, city and county maps, bicycle commuting information and to have bikes checked for free by our fantastic bike shop station sponsors. This is your day to be counted and recognized by the city!

Pedalpalooza is 2+ weeks of bikey fun. With 190 events, most organized by individuals, bikers of all persuasions are likely to find many events of interest. Nearly all events are free.
